Perth: day 8 And 9 (Finale)

Welcome to my final entry of my Perth Vacation
Series. And... YES! The long awaited and much
anticipated finale has arrived!!! What is so special
about this particular entry??? you might ask.
Well, this entry is ultra special because you get to see
the long awaited and much anticipated pictures of
this guy:

And... Oh! the guy in the pic above is Bryan Hon just
in case you didn't recognise him due to all that growing
his face and hair did while he is away.

As the sun rose over Perth on day 8, I jumped up from
bed even before my parents woke up because of the
adrenalin running though my veins due to the fact that
I've been waiting for this day ever since Bryan Left!
At this time, only 1 thing was present in my mind and
that was: "Yes! Yes! I am finally gonna meet Hon!"

After much planning and arrangements with Bryan
through my hp's roaming line (totaling up to RM70+),
we finally agreed on the place and time we would meet.
And... that place was the Garden City Mall which is
just a stone's throw away from my relative's house
where I stayed.

So, my parents drove me to the mall and I waited for
Hon at one of the Mall's entrances and all of a sudden,
"Darren!" Hon shouted.
I turned my head towards the voice and I saw a tall
handsome guy emerge from the thick fog
(kidding about the fog. It was bright and sunny)
Anyway, I was a little surprise when I first saw him
because he looked thinner and much more "Ang Tao"
than I remembered. Plus, his new hairstyle was just
awesome and instead of having an OZ accent, he
had quite a good American accent instead!

So, after some greetings and compliments, we headed
to the bus stop to catch a bus to the city.

Oz buses are like way better than the 60's era buses in
Kuching. Look how nice the buses are:

On our way to the city, We saw a large crowd of people
singing songs in a park:

Bryan and I in the bus:

After the bus ride to the city, we walked under the hot Oz
sun to this here open air mall called "Harbour Town"
to do some shopping:

And... It was hot! We spent ermmm about 20 mins
under the sun to get here and I remember seeing Bryan
pulling up his long sleeves.

Since that Bryan was hungry, we ate lunch at subway first.

My burger/whatever you call it:

Bryan's:

The strange thing about Perth and Oz is that all of the
major malls and shops are closed on sundays
while back in Kuching, Sunday is the busiest day of the
week in the shopping industry because people don't go
to work on sundays. But in Perth, you have to pay
the workers double if you wan't them to work on sundays.
So, Harbour town is always very packed on sundays as
it is one of the places that remain open on sundays.

Harbour town:

Packed with people:

After shopping at Harbour Town, we went to Northbridge.
Northbridge is Perth's Entertainment district as it is packed
with night clubs, Bars, and STRIP CLUBS. There were
these huge posters all over the district that reads: "Don't
let Hep C get under your skin" to discourage people from
going to strip clubs and prostitution clubs:

One of the strip clubs in the district that openly advertises
it's girls:

Horseshoe bridge next to Northbridge:

After visiting Northbridge, we went to the Hay and Murray
Street Pedestrian Mall. It is something like Kenyalan
with all the shops facing a pedestrian walkway but only
much bigger and better and newer. Upside down statue
at Hay Street:

Entrance to the medieval section of the mall:

Medieval style buildings inside:

As you can see, the Hay and Murray st mall is also one
of the few malls that stay open on Sundays. So, yeah it's
pretty packed:

Nice autumn coloured trees at the background:

There were like lot's of street performances on the walkways.
There were even people who painted their whole body
with metalic paint and act like statues just like in the movies:

Street scene:

That might look like an ice cream to you but Bryan said it's
not. I can't rember what you call it but it was good though.
At one point, A bastard tried to lick my ice cream but
I was pretty sure that his tongue did not touch it though
lol:

We took the subway to Bryan's House:

Swan river:

If you think that this pic of me in the subway looks stupid:

You should look at this cause I thought that my cam
was on photo mode but it was actually on video mode:

Bryan and I:

Hon's mum and I:

Hon's living room:

Yes! That's Bryan's house behind us alright:

Hon's house again:

After taking some pics, I watched Hon play some Star
Craft and I played some myself and we "kaciao" Gary
for a while. After that, Bryan's parents sent me home.

Now... what did my mum do while I was out shopping with
Hon? She took pics with flowers:

Those are blueberries behind her:

Since that it was my last night in Perth, my relatives
decided to throw us a farewell party. That's my uncle
Tom grilling something:

pool side bbq:

Since that I was having so much fun with Hon, I arrived
a little late but only the kids started eating:

Buzy kitchen scene:

Tons of different flavored jelly beans in that white box:

My parents:

Living room:

Piano:

My relative's kids sure love putting toys together:

Pool and I:

Dinner time:

We had steak, lasagna, some cheese with bread or
something, and sausages for the main corse:

And... Tiramisu with rum for dessert! Yum! Yum!

Here's how a Western Australian car license plate look
like (with the last 3 digits censored):

Group photo 2:

After that it was time to head to the airport and say
bye bye to Perth. We took the 12.40am flight to KL.

Blurry pics of Perth at night from the plane:

Since that the still pics were so blur, I took this video
clip:

As we flew into the darkness of the night, the sky looked
soo beautiful when the moonlight hit the black sky and
white clouds. The black sky looked like some gleeming
precious black stone or something but I was too tired to
take any pics of it.

When we arrived at KLIA, we had to fill up forms to
declare our health status to prevent the spread of H1N1
and there were like huge medic teams on stand-by with masks
on just incase. And, I was too tired to take pics of that too.

My first time in the KL lcct terminal:

How cheap can this place get??? The walls are made of
zinc for crying out loud!:

Well.... I sure had tons of fun in Perth. I regret the
fact that I didn't buy anything home from perth. So,
it's like I have nothing solid to hold on to but I sure did
bring home some awesome memories that will last
a lifetime.....

................................The End..................................
